Day by day
Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be met by a Wildlife Safari representative who will escort you to Arusha Serena Hotel, set on the edge of Lake Duluti and the woodland slopes of Mount Meru. Open the French doors leading onto your private balcony and the lakeside gardens while you settle in and enjoy the day at your leisure.
Tarangire
Breakfast will be served at your hotel before you set off in your 4WD vehicle with your Wildlife Safari guide, towards Tarangire National Park, with its mighty baobab trees and breathtaking views and the largest concentration of Elephant in Africa. On arrival at Tarangire Sopa Lodge, stretch your legs, getting familiar with the lodge before heading off on your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge let the traditional dancers entertain you at dinner.
Tarangire
Spend the early morning and late afternoon exploring this unique and quieter area known for its large concentrations of elephants and wildlife, attracted to the Tarangire River. The area is also home to rarer animals such as the fringe-eared Oryx, wild dogs and even pythons can be spotted in the trees, along with a myriad of birds. Return to camp to stretch your legs, take a dip in the pool and savour your meals.
Lake Manyara
Enjoy breakfast and set off in your 4WD vehicle with your Wildlife Safari guide to Lake Manyara. Arrive at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, sitting on the edge of the Rift Valley with the amazing vista of distant Lake Manyara. Enjoy lunch and head off to explore Lake Manyara National Park on a game drive, famed for its tree-climbing lion and pink flamingo that line the lake shores. Return to the lodge, freshen up and enjoy dinner.
Serengeti
Breakfast will be served before setting off through the undulating hills of the countryside to enter Serengeti National Park. Start game viewing en-route to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, set on a ridge with panoramic views of the Serengeti. Enjoy lunch and some leisure time before heading out for your afternoon game drive. Return and for dinner at the lodge
Serengeti
Rise to the sound of the birds, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and set off on your morning game drive where you’ll be spotting herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, along with buffalo, elephant and giraffe, to name a few. The game viewing here won’t disappoint you – whenever you travel and is truly remarkable. Back at the lodge, enjoy meals and some R&R. Wallow in the pool as you absorb the magnificent view or relax in the privacy of your balcony immersed in the surrounding solitude. End the day with dinner as the sounds of the night begin to fill the air.
Serengeti
Another day to experience this vast and un-spoilt wilderness. Besides the seasonal wildebeest migration for which the park is famous, it also supports a large diversity of game that wanders the open plains. You’ll always be on the lookout for the Big-5 – lion, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo and the elusive leopard – perhaps you’ll even be lucky enough to see a predator stalking its prey. Enjoy meals and leisure time at the lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast will be served before a leisurely game drive over the vast Serengeti plains to the remarkable Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, perched on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, in time for lunch. The afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy the magnificent views of the crater floor or take an optional visit to the local Masai village before enjoying dinner at the lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater
An early morning start to the day before descending the narrow track to the crater floor, where you’ll enjoy a picnic breakfast. Explore this Eden-like setting on the myriad of tracks around the crater floor, a mini biosphere with multitudes of animal and bird species, including the black rhino. In the early afternoon, you’ll make your up the narrow track for a late lunch with the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served at the restaurant, offering panoramic views of the crater.
Depart
Breakfast will be served before you depart on a private road transfer through local Maasai villages, coffee plantations and the Great Rift Valley to Arusha for your onward travel arrangements.

Destinations on this trip
