Welcome to Uganda!  On arrival at Entebbe Airport, your driver-guide will meet and transfer you to Lake Victoria Serena Resort & Spa, overlooking the beautiful Lake Victoria.  Settle in, take a dip in the pool and a workout in the gym, or just enjoy your day at leisure.

Kibale Forest

Enjoy Breakfast before your scenic journey begins, through the Albertine western Rift Vally, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and a picnic lunch en-route to Kyaninga Lodge. Settle in and absorb the surrounding beauty of Lake Kyaninga and the Rwenzori Mountain range in the background. Spend the afternoon at leisure before enjoying your 3-course dinner.

Kibale Forest

Savour breakfast before heading off with your guide into the tropical rainforest of Kibale Forest Reserve, tracking chimpanzees and spending some quality time watching their daily routine, swinging through trees, playing, running and feeding. Head back to the lodge for lunch with a view before you explore the Bigodi Swamp on foot to encounter the other 13 species of rare primates, butterflies and multitudes of birds. After a busy day, enjoy dinner and relax next to the fire.

Queen Elizabeth National Park 

Depart after breakfast to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with its wide variety of habitats and wildlife, including four of the Big-5. Stop for a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, spotting hippos, crocodiles, water birds, herds of buffalo and elephants. Continue to Ishasha Wilderness Camp to settle into your canvas tented room overlooking the Ntungwe River. Time permitting, head off on an afternoon game drive, returning for dinner and a crackling fire beside the river.

Queen Elizabeth National Park 

Today you’ll wake up early to explore this untouched landscape in an open safari vehicle on morning and afternoon game drives. Be on the lookout for the park’s tree-climbing lions – lazing in large fig trees – as well as elephants, buffalo and leopard, to name a few. Enjoy al fresco meals in the dining room or on the banks of the river and end the day around a blazing bonfire.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Enjoy breakfast and depart Ishasha Wilderness Camp on a scenic journey to Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arriving in the late afternoon, settle into your luxury tented room, surrounded by rainforest and nature. Spend the afternoon at leisure before savouring dinner in the elegant dining area and relaxing under the starlit African sky.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Wake up for breakfast before a short road transfer to the headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest where you’ll meet your local guide and trackers. Get briefed on meeting the gorillas before hiking off into the rainforest with a packed lunch. Spend some quality time watching and learning as the gorillas go about their daily lives. Return to the lodge to freshen up, savour dinner and share stories of the day’s adventure around a blazing campfire.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Wake up to the sounds of the forest and enjoy breakfast with the rest to spend at your leisure. For an additional cost, return to the forest for a second gorilla trek, enjoy a forest, village or community walk or a Batwa cultural experience. End the day under the stars next to a glowing log fire.

Depart

After breakfast, depart Sanctuary Gorilla Camp on a road transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your flight to Entebbe, from where you can continue with your onward travel arrangements.
