Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be met by a representative who will escort you to Arusha Coffee Lodge on the evergreen coffee fields of Mount Meru’s foothills. Freshen up after a long flight, take a dip in the pool or relax on the garden terrace. Enjoy dinner, served around a cosy log fire.
Serengeti
Enjoy breakfast before a road transfer to Arusha Airport for your light aircraft flight into the Serengeti. You’ll be welcomed by Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp and transferred towards your safari lodge, located next to the famous Grumeti River. Settle in before heading off on an afternoon game drive in this infamous wildlife haven. Enjoy a sundowner and return to camp for dinner and a crackling campfire.
Serengeti
Rise to the sound of the birds, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and set off on your morning game drive where you’ll be spotting herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, along with buffalo, elephant and giraffe, to name a few. The game viewing here won’t disappoint you – whenever you travel and is truly remarkable. In-between riveting game drives, spend some time relaxing around the lodge, take a dip in the cool pool or just kick back and absorb your magnificent surroundings. Enjoy dinner and end the day around a log fire.
Serengeti
Another day to experience this vast and un-spoilt wilderness. Besides the wildebeest migration for which the park is famous, it also supports a large diversity of wildlife that fills the open plains. You’ll always be on the lookout for the Big-5 – lion, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo and the elusive leopard – perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to see a predator stalking its prey. In-between exciting game drives, relax in the privacy of your safari tent surrounded by the solitude of nature. Savour dinner as the sounds of the night enfold you.
Ngorongoro Crater
An early morning game drive and breakfast before heading off to the airstrip for your flight to Lake Manyara airstrip. On arrival, you’ll be transferred on a scenic two-hour drive to Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro – set adjacent to the crater within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate – where no luxury is spared! Make yourself at home while you take in the exceptional beauty surrounding you. Dinner is served in The Manor’s restaurant.
Ngorongoro Crater
An early morning start, enjoy breakfast and descend the narrow track to the crater floor. Explore this Eden-like setting on the myriad of tracks around the crater floor, a mini biosphere with multitudes of animal and bird species, including the black rhino. In the early afternoon, you’ll make your up the narrow track for a late lunch and a siesta. Relish a cocktail as the sunsets over the coffee plantations before dinner is served
Depart
A leisurely wake up before breakfast is served and you depart on a road transfer to Lake Manyara airstrip. Embark on a light aircraft flight to Arusha Airport where you’ll continue with your onward travel arrangements.

Destinations on this trip
Tanzania is an East African safari powerhouse, not least because in the Serengeti it features one of the greatest of all wilderness areas, and the backdrop for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration. Factor in Indian Ocean Islands, too, and it’s clear that Tanzania safaris can be all things to all people.
The Serengeti takes its name from a Maasai word meaning ‘where the land runs on forever’. It’s one of the most evocative and iconic safari destinations of all – not least because it’s the stage on which much of the drama of the Great Wildebeest Migration is played out each year.
Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater from one of the luxury lodges perched on its rim is one of the most remarkable safari experiences available in Tanzania. Driving across an ancient volcanic caldera, the wildlife may seem familiar, but the setting is quite unique, and this makes for wonderful photographic opportunities.
