Day by day
Nairobi
Welcome to Kenya! On your arrival in Nairobi, a representative will meet and assist you through immigration and customs before your guest manager escorts you by private vehicle to The Boma Hotel. Settle in and recover from your international flight with the rest of the day at your leisure.
Tsavo West
Breakfast will be served at your hotel before you set off with your Wildlife Safari Guide in a southeasterly direction to Tsavo West National Park, outlined by Mount Kilimanjaro and the rolling green of Chyulu Hills. Arrive at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge with its classic stone design. Settle in before heading off on an afternoon game drive, returning for dinner at the lodge.
Tsavo West
An early morning wakeup allows you to catch the rising sun and wildlife in this diverse ecosystem. Relish seeing elephants, buffalo and the big cats, to name but a few. Lunch will be served on the dining room’s stone terrace, overlooking the waterhole – and all that frequent it. Spend the afternoon at leisure, perhaps on a day bed in the bar, with the amazing views it offers of the rolling Chyulu Hills. Head off late afternoon for your evening game drive, where the sun sets and the creatures of the night awaken. Enjoy dinner at the lodge.
Amboseli
Enjoy a morning game drive followed by breakfast and set off in the 4WD vehicle with your Wildlife Safari guide towards Namanga. Enter Amboseli National Park, its backdrop being the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll begin game viewing on the way to your safari lodge, in awe of your magnificent surroundings. Once you’ve made yourself comfortable at Ol Tukai Lodge, head out on an afternoon game drive returning around sunset, with time to freshen up before dinner.
Amboseli
Set off on your early morning game drive, with the hopes that Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-covered peak will be clear and uncovered. Return for a late breakfast with the remainder of the morning to relax at the lodge. After lunch, enjoy a late afternoon game drive around the many lakes and springs fed by Kilimanjaro’s melting snows in search of Amboseli’s legendary elephant herds. Enjoy dinner at the lodge.
Lake Naivasha
Enjoy breakfast and head off to Great Rift Valley Lodge, sitting on Ol Donyo Opurru Maa “mountain of smoke”, 2130m above sea level. Unbelievable vistas over the valley of lakes, volcanic craters, mountains and forests. Enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants, cool off in the sparkling pool or arrange with the lodge to take you on one of their many additional excursions. Enjoy dinner at the lodge.
Lake Naivasha
Today you’ll head out on a game drive to explore Lake Nakuru National Park with over 500 species of birds in the park as well as the big hitters such as lion, rhino and buffalo – amongst others. Spend a leisurely afternoon at the lodge enjoying the facilities and optional activities on offer. Take in the spectacular views and surrounding birdlife while enjoying your dinner.
Masai Mara
Depart after breakfast and drive along the Great Rift Valley floor before entering the Masai Mara National Reserve. Begin game viewing, passing wildlife herds on the vast savannah plains on a leisurely drive towards Mara IntrepidsTented Camp , situated at the confluence of the Masai Mara’s four prime wildlife viewing areas on the banks of the Talek River. Take some time to freshen up, enjoy lunch and head off on a late afternoon game drive to spot some of the amazing wildlife that the Mara has to offer. Savour dinner at the lodge followed by a crackling fire under the African sky.
Masai Mara
Wake at the crack of dawn and head off in your 4×4 game viewing vehicle, for some of the Masai Mara’s exceptional game viewing. Witness the sun rising over the savannah grasslands, the silhouette of giraffe, elephant, wildebeest – and many more – on the horizon. Return to camp, enjoy lunch, a siesta and relax on your private verandah, watching the wildlife go past. Back on the vehicle for your next game drive, perhaps the Big-5 is on the cards this afternoon? Relish dinner at the camp before settling down around the campfire.
Masai Mara
As dawn unfolds, enjoy a game drive through the game-filled plains of the Masai Mara. Another afternoon of peace awaits on your return before your next wildlife-spotting expedition, as the sun sets. Dinner is served in the restaurant, followed by a peaceful evening around the campfire surrounded by the calls of the night.
Depart
After a final morning game drive and breakfast before you depart on a road transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Your Wildlife Safari guest representative will meet and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward travel arrangements

Destinations on this trip
Kenya has as good a claim as anywhere to being the country where modern safaris began, and where they’re done best, and it still regularly features high on travel magazines ‘must-visit’ lists. Kenya has been doing what it does best for decades, and yet there’s always something new to discover on Kenya safaris.
