Day by day
Serengeti
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be met by a representative who will transfer you to Arusha airport for your light aircraft flight into the Serengeti National Park. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to Mbuzi Mawe Serena Camp, set on a ridge with panoramic views of the Serengeti. Settle in and enjoy lunch before heading off on an afternoon game drive, returning for dinner in the camps dining room, followed by a crackling fire.
Serengeti
Rise to the sound of the birds, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and set off on your morning game drive where you’ll be spotting herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, along with buffalo, elephant, giraffe, and many more. The game viewing here won’t disappoint, whenever you travel, it’s truly remarkable. Back at the camp enjoy meals and spend some time relaxing on your private outdoor terrace, absorbing the surrounding panoramic views. Bring the day to an end with dinner before settling in around the campfire as the sounds of the night fill the air.
Serengeti
Another beautiful day to experience this vast and un-spoilt wilderness. Besides the seasonal wildebeest migration for which the park is famous, it also supports a large diversity of game that wanders the open plains. You’ll always be on the lookout for the Big-5 – lion, elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo and the elusive leopard – perhaps you’ll even be lucky enough to see a predator stalking its prey. Enjoy meals and leisure time at the camp.
Depart
After a final morning game drive, enjoy breakfast before your airstrip transfer and flight to Arusha Airport where you can continue with your onward travel arrangements.

Destinations on this trip
Tanzania is an East African safari powerhouse, not least because in the Serengeti it features one of the greatest of all wilderness areas, and the backdrop for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration. Factor in Indian Ocean Islands, too, and it’s clear that Tanzania safaris can be all things to all people.
The Serengeti takes its name from a Maasai word meaning ‘where the land runs on forever’. It’s one of the most evocative and iconic safari destinations of all – not least because it’s the stage on which much of the drama of the Great Wildebeest Migration is played out each year.
