Serengeti
Enjoy breakfast and make your way by private transfer to Arusha Airport for a light aircraft flight into the world-famous Serengeti National Park. You’ll be welcomed and transferred, crossing the savannah plains to Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp, located next to the famous Grumeti River or Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp, with its extensive views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the Serengeti plains. Settle in before heading off on an afternoon game drive in this infamous wildlife haven. Enjoy a sundowner and return to camp for dinner and a crackling campfire.
Serengeti
Enjoy a full day of game viewing on the vast plains of the Serengeti, world-famous for its annual wildebeest and zebra migration, when nearly two million animals traverse the open plains in long columns searching for fresh grasslands. They finally turn northwards towards the Masai Mara in Kenya, but the game viewing in the Serengeti is amazing any time during the year. In-between riveting game drives, spend some time relaxing around the camp absorbing your magnificent surroundings. Enjoy meals at the camp and end the day around a log fire.

Arrive at Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro, set adjacent to the crater within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate, where no luxury is spared. Relax and take in the exceptional beauty surrounding you. Dinner will be served in The Manor’s restaurant.
Ngorongoro
An early morning start to the day before descending the narrow track to the crater floor, where you’ll enjoy a picnic breakfast. In the early afternoon, you’ll make your up the narrow track for a late lunch and a siesta. Relish a cocktail as the sunsets over the coffee plantations before dinner is served.
Amboseli
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before heading to Namanga to cross the border into Kenya, and enter Amboseli National Park. You’ll begin game viewing on the way to Elewana Tortilis Camp, in awe of your magnificent surroundings. Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, provides a spectacular backdrop as you drive towards your safari lodge. Once you’ve made yourself at home, head out on an afternoon game drive returning around sunset, with time to freshen up before dinner.
Amboseli
Set off on your early morning game drive, enjoying the sights of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow covered peak. Return to camp for a late breakfast, then relax until lunch. If you accept an invitation to plant an acacia tree as part of the Amboseli Reforestation Project (created by Wildlife Safari and Serena Hotels) you’ll receive a commemorative certificate. Return to Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli for a memorable dinner under the stars.
Laikipia
Enjoy an early morning game drive and breakfast before your flight to Mugie Conservancy, a private wildlife conservancy in Laikipia. Begin game viewing on the way to Governor’s Mugie House, taking in your wild surroundings. Once you’ve made yourself at home, head out on an afternoon game drive with time to freshen up before dinner.

Watch the waterhole for the visitors that frequent it and take a dip in the cool pool before setting off to watch the sunset on your late afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner and a crackling fire.
Great Rift Valley
Enjoy breakfast, then depart for the Great Rift Valley, boasting hot springs, geysers, volcanoes and some of the oldest, largest and deepest lakes in the world. The alkaline shallow soda lakes are famous for flamingo flocks, which gather to feed and breed along the lakeshore. Arrive at Governors’ Loldia House sitting on a farm on the banks of Lake Naivasha, one of two freshwater lakes on the rift. Settle in and spend the afternoon relaxing, relax while you take in the views. Enjoy dinner and end the day off under the star-studded sky.
Great Rift Valley
Your safari guide will arrange a day of exploring to suit your preference in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingos as well as being a breeding sanctuary for the endangered black rhino, white rhino and the rare Rothschild giraffe. Return to the lodge, relax with a cool drink in hand, or take a dip in the sparkling pool, with magnificent views over the lake. Enjoy dinner at Governors’ Loldia House.
Masai Mara
Depart after breakfast, driving along the Great Rift Valley floor to enter the Masai Mara National Reserve, where you immediately begin game viewing, passing wildlife herds on the vast savannah plains. Arrive at Governors Camp, which rests peacefully in a riverine forest on the banks of the Mara River. Settle into your classic safari-style tent, freshen up and head out on your first game drive. Enjoy dinner before ending the day around the crackling campfire.
Masai Mara

Endless opportunity awaits, a predator stalking its prey, a fish eagle calling over the river or a calf being born, who knows what’s lying in wait. Enjoy dinner and let the sounds of the night surround you at the campfire under the African sky.

Destinations on this trip
Tanzania is an East African safari powerhouse, not least because in the Serengeti it features one of the greatest of all wilderness areas, and the backdrop for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration. Factor in Indian Ocean Islands, too, and it’s clear that Tanzania safaris can be all things to all people.
The Serengeti takes its name from a Maasai word meaning ‘where the land runs on forever’. It’s one of the most evocative and iconic safari destinations of all – not least because it’s the stage on which much of the drama of the Great Wildebeest Migration is played out each year.
Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater from one of the luxury lodges perched on its rim is one of the most remarkable safari experiences available in Tanzania. Driving across an ancient volcanic caldera, the wildlife may seem familiar, but the setting is quite unique, and this makes for wonderful photographic opportunities.
Amboseli is known as Kenya’s land of giants, and it’s not hard to see why. Africa’s tallest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, towers over the national park, and it’s also one of the best places in East Africa to encounter elephant in numbers. No wonder people use superlatives to describe Amboseli safaris.
Ol Pejeta is a pioneering wildlife conservancy in Laikipia – Kenya’s high country. With the emphasis firmly on species conservation, Ol Pejeta safaris offer not only exceptional opportunities to view species that are scarce elsewhere, but also to learn about, contribute to and even participate in ground-breaking and impactful conservation projects.
Lake Elmenteita offers a more secluded safari destination than either of its neighbouring lakes (Naivasha and Nakuru), which can make it feel more exclusive. The unique volcanic landscape adds to the sense of being wonderfully removed from all that’s unimportant – and the unusual wildlife species seen on Lake Elmenteita safaris only reinforce this impression.
The place that launched a thousand clips, and millions of images. There’s no more iconic safari destination than Kenya’s Masai Mara, with its eponymous tribespeople, millions of thundering hooves, and equal parts drama, magic and romance. Kenya itineraries without Masai Mara safaris are almost unthinkable, and every moment spent there is unforgettable.
