Day by day
Nairobi
Welcome to Kenya! On your arrival in Nairobi, a representative will meet and assist you through immigration and customs before your Wildlife Safari guest manager escorts you by private vehicle to The Boma Hotel. Settle in and recover from your international flight with the rest of the day at your leisure.
Aberdare National Park
Breakfast will be served at your hotel before you set off northbound with your Wildlife Safari guide to The Ark, in Aberdare National Park, with game viewing opportunities once you’ve entered the park. Make yourself at home before taking tea and watching the feeding of the birds on The Ark bridge. Enjoy an interactive talk about the local fauna and flora before dinner is served – all the while watching animals come and go at the floodlit waterhole.
Lake Naivasha
Enjoy breakfast before continuing your journey for the Great Rift Valley – boasting hot springs, geysers, volcanoes and some of the oldest, largest and deepest lakes in the world. The alkaline shallow soda lakes are famous for their flamingo flocks gathering to feed and breed along the lakeshore. Take some time to freshen up and enjoy the facilities at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for the afternoon. Additional to the itinerary are optional activities at the lodge, such as a boat ride on the lake or a trip to Crescent Island. Enjoy dinner at the lodge.
Lake Naivasha
Today you’ll head out on a game drive to explore Lake Nakuru National Park, there are over 500 species of birds in the park, as well as the big hitters such as lion, rhino and buffalo, amongst others. On return to the lodge, take a dip in the pool or treat yourself to a refreshing drink at the bar, perhaps you’ll get to see the lodges resident giraffe, waterbuck and monkeys. Enjoy dinner on the outdoor patio at the lodge.
Masai Mara
Departing after breakfast, drive along the Great Rift Valley floor to enter the Masai Mara National Reserve. You’ll immediately begin game viewing, passing wildlife herds on the vast savannah plains as you drive towards Mara Leisure Camp, situated in a prime wildlife viewing area on the banks of the Talek River. After lunch, take a late afternoon game drive, returning to your lodge for dinner.
Masai Mara
Wake at the crack of dawn and head off in your 4×4 game viewing vehicle for some of the Masai Mara’s exceptional game viewing. Witness the sun rising over the savannah grasslands, the silhouette of giraffe, elephant, wildebeest – and many more – on the horizon. A leisurely afternoon awaits at camp, take a dip in the pool or kick back and have a siesta on a sun lounger. Back on the vehicle for your next game drive, perhaps the Big-5 is on the cards this afternoon? Enjoy dinner before winding down around the campfire under the star-filled African sky.
Masai Mara
With the rising sun, enjoy a game driving through the plains of the Masai Mara. Time for lunch and a siesta before heading out on your next game spotting expedition as the sun begins to set over the African bush and the cool air settles in. Enjoy dinner at the restaurant before settling into your tent, surrounded by the sounds of the evening.

Kenya has as good a claim as anywhere to being the country where modern safaris began, and where they’re done best, and it still regularly features high on travel magazines ‘must-visit’ lists. Kenya has been doing what it does best for decades, and yet there’s always something new to discover on Kenya safaris.
