Nairobi Serena Hotel

Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya where you will be met and escorted to the Nairobi Serena Hotel. A welcome safari briefing by your Wildlife Safari manager followed by an afternoon at leisure.

  • Amboseli

Amboseli Serena Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Breakfast and morning drive to the Amboseli Game Reserve, arriving at the Amboseli Serena Lodge facing the summit of Kilimanjaro. Late afternoon game viewing drive in the Amboseli Game Reserve. Plant your own acacia tree in "The Amboseli Reforestation" Project.

Amboseli Serena Lodge ((Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Dawn game viewing drive before returning to your lodge for a late breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning relaxing by the swimming pool. Another game viewing drive late this afternoon around the lakes and springs fed by the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.

  • Day 4:

  • Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

An early morning departure for Tanzania, crossing the border at Namanga and drive to Arusha. Lunch and continue to the Ngorongoro Crater where two thousand foot walls surround a floor covering just over one hundred square miles. Late afternoon arrival at your safari lodge built into the crater rim and covered with millions of river rock.

Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Early morning descent by four wheel drive vehicle to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing. The black mane lion rules over this unique domain, the Crater Lake is home to thousands of flamingos that migrate from other Great Rift Valley lakes. Elephant, buffalo and rhino are also found in greater numbers. Avoid the crowds with a picnic breakfast provided by your lodge before ascending the crater wall to your lodge for late lunch. The rest of the afternoon will be at leisure.

  • Day 6:

  • Serengeti

Serengeti Serena Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Continue this morning to the Serengeti National Park with an optional brief stop at Olduvai Gorge to visit the site of Louis and Mary Leakey's archaeological work and the small museum with some of their artefacts. Arrive for lunch at your safari lodge with a late afternoon game viewing drive on the Serengeti plains.

Serengeti Serena Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Spend another day of unhurried game viewing with lots of time to search for wildlife in the Serengeti National Park. The annual migration is the greatest wildlife show on earth, with several million wildebeest and zebra trekking north to the Masai Mara while lion, cheetah and the rare hunting dog follow close behind. Herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam the vast savannah grasslands of the Serengeti National Park and together with the adjoining Masai Mara in Kenya, it forms the finest wildlife ecosystem in the world. Relax around the swimming pool during the middle part of the day while enjoying the superb Serena service.

  • Day 8:

  • Masai Mara

Mara Serena Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Breakfast followed by a transfer to the airstrip for your flight from Seronera to Tarime area. The airline will pick you up with their vehicle and drive you to Migori airstrip for your connecting flight from Migori to Masai Mara. Your Kenyan Wildlife Safari vehicle and guide will meet you at the Mara Serena Airstrip and immediately embark on a game viewing drive to your luxury safari lodge, built on the summit of a hill. Enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon game viewing drive, returning to your lodge late in the evening.

  • Day 9 & 10:

  • Maasai Mara

Mara Serena Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Two full days of game viewing in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands, their numbers increasing during the annual migration from the Serengeti. Lion, leopard and cheetah are never far behind, while crocodile and hippo congregate in the Mara and Talek Rivers. You will also enjoy our exclusive Masai Mara bush dinner with traditional Masai tribal dancing.

  • Day 12:

  • Depart Nairobi

Depart Nairobi(Breakfast)

A final early morning game viewing drive, followed by our special "breakfast with the hippo" along the Mara River in the sanctuary. Transfer to the airstrip and fly back to Nairobi, where your Wildlife Safari guest manager will meet and escort you to Nairobi airport for your departing flight or extend your stay with an overnight in Nairobi, at additional cost.

Upgrade your stay in the Masai Mara to the Kichwa Tembo Camp, a luxury safari camp built at the spur of the Oloololo Escarpment which overlook endless, game-filled plains in the background surrounded by lawns and breathtaking views. You will enjoy the same activities at Kichwa Tembo Camp.

A small and exotic Indian Ocean Island just off the Tanzanian mainland once ruled by Omani Sultans. Spend a few days exploring the historic Stone town precinct or just relaxing at a beach resort. Wildlife Safari has a choice of small, boutique hotel in Stone town or one of Zanzibar's pristine beaches, or both.

Victoria Falls - Zambia & Zimbabwe Border

One of the world's natural wonders on the Zambia & Zimbabwe border where the Zambezi River cascades over. View the mighty falls on foot, aircraft, helicopter, boat or whitewater raft and be awed by its sheer size and power. Wildlife Safari offers hotels and lodges in both countries, with easy flight access from Johannesburg or Nairobi.

Kruger National Park - South Africa

Is surrounded on its western border by a patchwork quilt of small, private wildlife sanctuaries each with one or more luxury safari lodges. Game viewing by open vehicle or foot with an armed guide (mainly for atmosphere) and tracker. While it's not the massive numbers of wildlife as East Africa, the species biodiversity compensates and is easily reached by air from Johannesburg or Livingston.
